The cast iron pan has an extra front grip for safer lifting if it feels heavy. Clean the frying pan with hot water and a dish brush after it has cooled down from use. Hand dry thoroughly with a cloth or paper immediately after cleaning and store dry. The frying pan should not be used in a microwave.
