The blini pan can be used for more than just traditional blinis, such as small egg pancakes, potato rösti, tortillas, and spicy fried eggs. Cast iron is not suitable for acidic foods like tomatoes and fruit. When using on a stove/glass hob, it is important to lift the blini pan when moving it – never slide it back and forth on the stove.
