The casserole is suitable for all heat sources - including induction. Hand washing with a soft brush and soap is recommended. Use copper polish to keep the exterior shiny. Copper cookware should be hand washed with warm water and dish soap. Whether you prefer polished copper or a more patinated look is a matter of taste. We recommend polishing your copper cookware before use and repeating the polishing a few times a year so that the vessels stay shiny and nice. Without polishing, copper will over time develop a natural matte surface with a less polished appearance. If your copper vessels become very orange-yellow, it may be because the copper is reacting with the humidity in the environment. All you need to do to make the copper look beautiful again is to polish it.
